Delete Your Account

Delete your account from inside the app

1. Open Yearly Birdie Tracker on your device.
2. Tap the menu icon in the top right corner.
3. Tap your name at the top of the menu to open your Profile.
4. Scroll to Account Actions and tap Delete Account.
5. Confirm when prompted. Your account and the data listed below are deleted immediately.

Cannot access the app?

Email 218Cultivation@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account, with the subject line "Delete My Account". We will verify the request and delete your account within 30 days.

What is deleted

When your account is deleted, the following is permanently removed from our servers and cannot be recovered:

• Your account identity: your Firebase account, the email address associated with Google Sign-In, and your unique user ID.
• Your profile: display name and account settings.
• Your synced stats: birdies, pars, eagles, greens, rounds played, and current course totals stored in the cloud.
• Your goals: all season and per-round goals synced to your account.
• Your blocked-users list.
• Your group memberships: you are removed from every group you belong to, and each group member count is updated.

What is kept, and why

Some content you contributed to shared spaces is retained so that conversations and records remain coherent for other members. This content is retained indefinitely unless you ask us to remove it:

• Group chat messages you posted, along with the display name attached to them at the time.
• Activity entries for milestones you achieved in a group, plus any reactions and comments you posted.
• Groups you created remain available to their remaining members.
• Moderation reports you submitted or that were submitted about your content, kept for safety and abuse-prevention purposes.
• Course layouts you published to the shared course library. These contain par data only and carry no personally identifiable information.

If you want this retained content removed as well, email us at 218Cultivation@gmail.com and we will delete it manually.

Deleting data without deleting your account

You do not have to delete your whole account to remove data:

• Scores and history on your device: open Settings and choose Erase All Data. This clears all courses, scores, goals, and archived seasons stored locally.
• Goals only: open Settings and choose Clear All Goals.
• A single chat message or comment: press and hold it in the group and choose Delete.
• Leaving a group: open the group, tap the menu in the top right, and choose Leave Group.

For anything else, email 218Cultivation@gmail.com describing what you would like removed.

Timing

Deletions made in the app take effect immediately. Requests sent by email are completed within 30 days of us verifying that the request comes from the account owner. Routine encrypted backups may retain a copy for up to 30 additional days, after which it is overwritten.
